"This letter serves to confirm that Lloyd McMillan was the main contractor for a significant addition/alteration project in Parnell in 2011/2102 for which Herbst Architects were the project architects responsible for design, detailing, documentation and site observation, the contract administration being handled by a project manager. The project was relatively complex and demanding in that it involved the temporary removal of an existing heritage building, excavation of a full floor on a steep site, construction of a series of in-situ concrete retaining walls and steel support structure for the support of the repositioned heritage structure and complete refurbishment of the old building, including the refabrication of elements. The project required also a high level of finish and detail. Throughout the project we found Lloyd to be professional and proactive in his communications with ourselves and capable in managing the execution of the works described in our documentation, to a standard that met our expectations.
